We have two routes into the cable industry both of them leading to employment with one of our labor suppliers. There is a training program and certificate course for those who have no experience of working in the cable industry before and a recruitment site looking for experienced cable installers who have work for Virgin Media or one of their contract partners in the past.
Trainee cable installers If you have no experience of working in the cable industry before but you can demonstrate that you possess other skills such as manual dexterity, ability to work on your own initiative, good customer interaction and a conscientious desire to do a good job, then we have the course for you. The TST Certificate in Cable Engineering is designed for those with no previous experience to learn about the cable industry and the skills necessary to carry out residential cable installs, complete assessment by Virgin Media which leads to employment and guaranteed earnings in the first year of circa £18,000.
